I find it very interesting that the final destination of the airliner is allegedly, Berlin, Germany - since when did Germany become a haven for terrorists? Oh! never mind!

Ahem! Germany is not a haven for terrorists as you infer, but Germany happens to be the favourite choice of asylum for Kurds.
Do you mean to say that every time a hijacked airline lands in USA, your nation becomes a haven for terrorists?

Actually, most of the 9/11 hijackers were based off in Hamburg, Germany, even though their nationalities were Middle-Eastern. Most of the Al-Qaeda cells related to 9/11 were captured in Germany.

Of the all the places, they have refueled in Athens, which was hijack central in the 80s and 90s.
