First of all, go check out the Blog Mela #10 at Yazad's Place - great reading from various Indian bloggers.
The next Blog Mela is going to be hosted right here at "Dancing with Dogs". Send me links to posts written between now and next Tuesday by leaving a comment here or by emailing me at madhoo.1atemaildotcom.
Last but not least, I want to thank Joni for the wonderful new design for the blog. I love the spring look!
I dedicate this to the pink-loving lady I like so much - Here is to you, Diana!

Wow! WOW! Look at all the color around here! Beautiful change.

Thank you, Goddess! It is a wonderful template.

Beautiful! I love the new digs :)
Posted by: Madhu at May 1, 2003 10:36 AM
Hey, thanks - trying that “girly-thing” for a change :)
Posted by: Shanti at May 1, 2003 10:37 AM
Woah! What a surprise. Very bright and colorful. When I get some time (in next lifetime), I will look into my CSS.
Posted by: JK at May 1, 2003 11:20 AM
Thanks, JK - the colors make me feel very cheerful :)
Posted by: Shanti at May 1, 2003 11:41 AM
It is so, well, girlish! ;-)
Posted by: Niraj at May 1, 2003 11:48 AM
So I can remind myself to be all feminine and girly once in a while ;-)

Pink!
I gen dislike pink. When the mood passes, please change the colour. If you could give us pinko-haters a colour changer (like on realwomenonline), we’d be obliged.
;-)
Posted by: Yazad at May 1, 2003 12:37 PM
LOL, Yazad - I will do that soon. I promise!
Posted by: Shanti at May 1, 2003 12:55 PM
A nice gay pink you have. (Like Yazad, I too dislike pink.)
Things this reminds me of:
* Bubblegum
* Strawberry milkshake
* Barbie doll house
* Did I mention bubblegum?
(PS: you might want to update the CSS file to change the background colour for the comment fields too - brown and pink… ewww)
Brown remains my favourite colour. Nice, earthy, and practical. :)

Thanks for the suggestions, MadMan - I am working on getting a few skins for the site, so you can change the color scheme :)
I like strawberry milkshake, icecream - anything strawberry ;)

I just saw this! My memorial……
Posted by: Diana at May 1, 2003 8:29 PM
I know - it is a memorial to “100 shades of pink” :)
Posted by: Shanti at May 1, 2003 10:02 PM
BTW, by “pinko” I meant commie, not gay.
Small peeve: Next to your “post a comment” there’s this “remember personal info” bit. i always say yes, but it seems like yr site doesn’t like sending my comp a cookie! Every time I return to comment, it asks me for my name / email / URL info. Me lazy typist don’t like that!! :-(
Posted by: Yazad at May 2, 2003 1:13 AM
Actually, I am aware of the problem - it only happens with the pop-up comments. I will try to fix it soon :) I did get the part about “commie” pinko :)
Posted by: Shanti at May 2, 2003 6:42 AM
Yeeew… First, I thought your site was hacked by pinkos :) .
I have mixed feelings about it, but I guess I’ll grow to live with it.
Posted by: Kingsley Jegan at May 2, 2003 1:52 PM
LOL, Kingsley - “practice makes perfect” - keep coming here and ultimately you will grow to love it, you anti-pinko-person! :)
Posted by: Shanti at May 2, 2003 2:55 PM
Everybody’s doing it: thinking pink.
Posted by: Diana at May 2, 2003 2:59 PM
Glad you like it, Shanti. That’s what matters! I never realized that the color pink had such an ability to shock, enrage, irk and annoy.
You all must come take a gander at my circa 1930s tile bathroom some time. The tiles are original to the building and can only be described as “Pepto Bismol pink.”
But not to worry faithful Dancing With Dog readers, because Shanti, out of respect for your feelings (and your retinas, I presume), is having me design another template for her to use in addition to this one.
:-P

I love the scheme, Joni - it is a very welcome change from my usual schemes - like Diana said, “think pink!” :)
