I’ll save myself before Raef goes after the ball … - Pippen.

LOL, L - I was also thinking is Raef in a Kung-Fu match with Pippen?

You betcha! Looks like Raef will give Jackie (Chan) a run for his money. I would rather have him against the other “Bad” Blazer boys (Wallace, Wells, etc.) rather than Mr. Pippen

True, and I think that is what is going to happen now that Pippen is out. I really don’t see him coming back in real soon to play in the series.

Last night’s game was great, though at times too close for comfort.

Thank God for Nash… what a great night he had… Even the most awkward shots went in! He’s an interesting guy, off the court. There was a recent article about him in the FW Star Telegram.

He was born in apartheid South Africa, the article said. His parents, not wanting him to grow up in such an environment, moved to Vancouver. Growing up, he developed a strong interest in hockey, soccer, and basketball. Went to college in Santa Clara, then on to the pros from there.

He’s also very fascinated by Gandhi and his philosophy (which probably explains his anti-war stance).

I agree with the “too close for comfort” part. Thank God for Nash an Nick. They were just knocking down impossible shots. I read the profile you are talking about. I like his ideas, but I think he is an idiot masquerading as an intellectual.

I mean he claimed in another interview that he thought “Stupid White Men” and “Bowling for Columbine” were brilliant :(
