That was an absolutely incredible game by the Mavs last night. 10 points in the third quarter? Dude, we are playing defense! A great 25th birthday gift for Mike Bibby ;)
Tim Legler was on ESPN radio this morning. According to him, Mavs and Kings will have trouble with the Nets in the Championship Finals, but the Lakers won't. Earth to Tim - Mavs swept the Nets in the regular season two seasons in a row and one of the wins was at NJ on the second night of a back-to-back, the first game of which, Mavs beat Indiana Pacers in a double OT.
Did the collective heart of all Spurs drop to the floor when Horry hoisted that potentially game-winning three-pointer at the end of last night's game? Thank God for you guys, he missed for a change.
Will someone tell the ESPN radio hosts that Donnie Nelson doesn't have a junior at the end of his name? The father is Don and the son is Donnie - see, different names.
Last night's Western conference Games were probably the most fairly called in the play-offs so far.
Check out the MP3 of parody songs making fun of the Kings at DallasMavericks.com - it is really funny. My favorite - "Vlade Divac, what do you keep talking to the refs in between plays?" - "Don't you have the time, to listen to me whine!" :D

Probably it’s too early to talk about West-East contenders! Though we might have swept the Nets, play-offs are entirely different. But still, we have matured enough to handle Kenyon Martin & co. (I consider him a threat, more than any other Nettie).
Thank good that Horry shot did’nt make it. We have to get past this legacy thing and yesterday’s miss is a good sign.
Good the game was fair after all the disccussion we had.
I wonder if we are getting enough media on the East play-offs or the games themselves are simply boring!!!

I will settle for the games being boring :) I agree it is too early to be talking about the finals, we still need to get past the WCF. We will most probably face the Spurs (though I still will not rule Lakers out).
I will be happy if we take the Spurs(or Lakers) to 6 games in the WCF.

Mavs rule!! If I were the Mavs I would run the court hard and fast against the Spurs. They have alot of aging players that could be worn down if the Mavs force them to play their game.

I think the fact that Robinson’s back is hurting him bad should help the Mavs’ cause. Playing the grueling half-court sets is not the Mavs’ way and you could see they weren’t happy when they tried to do that.
You could just see the energy and joy in their faces once they switched back to the run and gun style starting Game 2. It will fun to watch.

I know - whoever thought we will actually be saying Mavs and defense in the same sentence and actually mean it in a good way.
