Well, got an email from Amazon this morning that my order has been shipped - I expect to get my “deluxe” edition of the book sometime tomorrow. There will be a review up as soon as I am done with it - don’t worry I won’t spoil anything for you :)

Harry Potter? I just don’t get it. People stealing books. Publisher and writer threatening lawsuits it one word of the novel is published. Retailers threatened with financial ruin if the book is released even one second early. Uping the security at bookstores. It is a book, not the Holy Grail. :mad:

Niraj, it is “The Holy Grail”, “Cash Cow”, “Kamadhenu” and a lot of others rolled into one as far JK Rowling is considered, I think :beam: Imagine being able to retire happily on the income from 5 books - she doesn’t even have to write books 6 and 7.

I need to read the last chapters of the fourth book again now, so I can remember the story again - I cannot wait for tomorrow, but I think the fourth book will help me kill time effectively :beam:

Hey Nimbus 2000 is outdated. Fireblot is in. I heard the same spoiler about book 7 and I wonder if its true. JKR, in her latest BBC interview, mentioned something to the same effect though wrapped around a “what is Harry dies ?”. We’ll know for sure in the 7th book :beam:

If i were JKR (OR someone geographically a little closer to her :tongue3:) i wud most certainly not let harry die …:( it is sad isnt it… :( :(
Ashwini, so u r a Harry Potter maniac huh ?;) Well… Harry Potter and The Philosopher’s Stone was my first love in the world of books. No other book cud have brought me into the habit of reading as much as JKR’s books did.. so cheers for Rowling !! :nice:

Hi Everyone,
I was readinge everyone’s comment about the book. I’ve been doing a bit of research, I can’t believe how hooked I am with the books. I guess it’s a bit of “break” from regular muggle world, to be apart of Harry’s. Unfortunately, because we live so far all the way in the middle of the pacific, the books doesn’t get to us will 10 days later..it’s still on ships. Sad huh? But I guess I could wait, for now, I’m gonna search, just for tid bits. Well Hafa adai to everyone. Later Potterholics!! Hey, takes one to know one!:blush:

AAHHH!!!! I finished the book in just 3 days…I should have savored and read it slower, but I just couldn’t wait. The description right on the target, DARK. Sad, that the prisoner movie is not due till next year..hmm..adios! :nice:
