So, first comes an email with this link forwarded to me by "John Doe" - Bush falsely claims "we found the weapons of mass destruction" (6/1) - and then there is "amused" saying I am "still an idiot", because I support Israel. I am not much of a conspiracy theorist, but it makes me wonder if this is one of the banned S'Pore trolls or some others who swore they will never post here because of the "comment policy".....
Hey, if you really want to get back and comment here, just give us your real name and apologize in public - we know you have a blog - maybe we will consider letting you back in. Heh!

As for the thread, it really seems to be the wishful thinking of a bunch of Democrats trying to grasp at any straws to make Bush look bad. What are they feeling betrayed about and lied to, when they didn’t buy the reasons in the first place? The people who supported the war didn’t support it just because of the WMD - I know that to me the more important issue was Saddam’s tyranny and his removal from a position of power.
I know of others who wanted Saddam to go so that there won’t be anyone bankrolling the Palestinian suicide bombers. What the MeFi-ers fail to see is Saddam himself admitted to having biological and chemical weapons to the UN after the First Gulf War - what happened to them and if they were really destroyed, why didn’t he just prove it to the inspectors and be done with it in the last 12 years?
