LOL, Vivek and Yaz! I worked at I2 Technologies, Inc, here in Dallas for a while, a company chock-full of IIT-ians. I don’t think I am very eager to repeat the experience again :tongue3:

I’m from an IIT too, but not an engineer. Most of the IITians are pretty hard to live with, but the cool ones are fun. Sadly, there are very few cool IITians. Sad and true. I LOVED this one.

U need to know one to say that IIT is all study and no play. Please make it a point to visit IIT next time u r in India. We are cool and smart :blush:

Dear Shanti, It’s not the way it u perceive it. Somehow there is a tendency of everyone to believe whatever is said in media. Some years back there was this article which said that IITians treat other engineers as their chaufeurs, this is not true at all.

Wow!!! Quite a debate going on in here about IITians.. huh? Well… I am an IITian too. And for all those who think we are geeks .. think agian… Studying is only done 4 days before semester exams.. and you wudn’t believe what all Extra-curriculars we do rest of the year!!! IITians are much more peaceful (my college lingo!) than most people think….
