Not good for the Kings!

ESPN.com - NBA - NBA likely to suspend Webber, Richardson
“Having been convicted or having pled guilty, it is likely that Mr. Richardson and Mr. Webber will be suspended at the start of the season,” Granik said. Commissioner David Stern said because Webber is injured, the suspension would be held off until he is healthy.

What is with these basket ball players? They always seem to get into one trouble or the other. There is an endless list of players who either get rapped for DUI, or they beat their wives silly or they smoke crack like there is no tomorrow or they have illicit sex with “consenting” women or they threaten unsuspecting match referees…

I guess it comes with the territory - big money at a young age and that too easymade money, since they didn’t have to work all their lives to get it, is a sure recipe for disaster.

If Kobe, who was once considered the most responsible of them all can get into a scrap like he is in now, what can we say about others who grew up in single-parent families with little to no sense of responsibility.
