Life or something like that...

My in-laws flew in from India yesterday, so expect my lazy self to get even lazier about blogging. The baby’s EDD was May 31st, but the doctor estimated he was about 7.5lb right now (amazing considering I put on only 12lb so far in my pregnancy), so they might try to pop him out a couple weeks early so I can avoid the dreaded c-section (no, it isn’t the scars I am afraid of - just the side-effects for me and the baby). All in all, I am living in interesting times. I hope everything turns out for the best in the end.

Hi Akka ;-) (sorry i’m just helping myself to respecting you this way :).

Amma used to say that when a couple gets married and people come to their wedding they all bring gifts and such. When God receive the invitation, he sends a child as his gift. Early or late, have faith that the timing will be just right. Keep yourself happy and safe. Here’s hoping for healthy delivery for the both of you. I’ve actually been a witness to quite a few deliveries as a Maternity ward volunteer back in my uni days, horror stories depend on perception, each to their own. Have faith and wear a smile — its a gift from God.

Cheers -LS.

PS. My coworkers are still trying to set me up :-(, unfortunately i’m feeling lonely enough that I might actually take them up on it. No, I’m not That desperate hahaha (Made u smile?)

The only positive thing about a C-section is that the baby comes out without a mishapen head…c-section babies are even more beautiful (the ones I’ve seen compared to…) because they don’t go through the trauma of the birth canal.
