MadMan, we can definitely do that and still pick out the best entry for the month - I need volunteers to put together the weekly melas, though.

Sure, Ravages - if you, MadMan and two more people respond so I have atleast teh next four weeks covered, we can go back to the weekly Mela. All the volunteers need to do is to collect the week’s entries in a post and put it up on the blog :)

Rezwan, the very first Blog Mela happened on Jan 30, 2003, so we will be celebrating the second anniversary of the Mela soon :)

Saunty, to maintain balance, you’ll have to find some communist Indian bloggers to host the Mela, or people might think that you are biased in favour of the libertarians.
