Baby blogging

neel-sammy.jpg

Neel is sitting by Sammy (my black Great Dane). This was the first time he could sit unassisted.

I woke up and went to brush my teeth. I come back to this little scene of Neel and Raju (my fawn Great Dane) snuggling by each other and fast asleep.

While we are talking family, Happy Birthday, Geetha my little sister

Great pics. And Neel has that “masti” in his eyes. You and hubby should beware coz he’s gonna drive you crazy.

I know from experience. I used to drive my parents crazy!

Neel looks so handsome already. Watch out girls.

It seems that Sammy & Raju are mimicking Neels positions. “Living with Dogs” can really be fun!

Nice Sweet pics :beam:

Now you simply drive us crazy. :tongue3:

Hehe, cute baby, and he’s an American citizen too. He’ll get a good price on the dowry market, Shanti.

(I kid! I kid!)

Shanti,
As you have young kids, you might find this read interesting : Dog bites man. http://www.slate.com/id/2109937/
Btw great pics and your kids are real cute too :)

Thanks, RR - they are all my kids :)

Yaz, thanks for the word of caution. I will watch out :tongue3:

Thanks, Rezwan! It is amazing how good he gets along with the dogs.

Thanks, Anil :)

MadMan, I do have a get-rich-quick scheme involving Neel…I am going to make him play professional basketball - multi-millionaire before he turns 20 since he will be the first Indian-American basketball player ;) The comment thing is an MT bug, I think.

Mujahid, thanks for the great link. I completely agree with the author there. I worked with a rescue shelter for about two years and fostered shy, abused dogs so they could get over the shyness and get adopted. I wouldn’t trust my baby near some of them.

What a total cutie!!! (Er, the baby. The dogs are sweet, too).

great danes eh.. Whenever I see a great dane I can only run the faint scar running across my arm and torso, and thank my stars for how lucky I was :-D

Shanti, apologies in advance for spamming. :)

Yours is the most popular blog I know, so here’s plugging my nascent creation:

MD, thanks :)

uspeed, I am sorry you had a bad experience. I have found Great Danes to be very gentle and caring in my experience.

RR, no problem.

Shanti, I look forward to a shot of the two dogs sleeping next to each other. Splendid kids, handsome dogs.

What kind of weight are the dogs? I babysat friends’ Great Dane in Austin once who was some 135 lbs, quite a handful when he decided (often) to rear up and plaster my face with licks. The same friends later gave me my Rhodesian Ridgeback who was a puny 80 lbs…

Posted by: Dilip D at November 21, 2004 9:30 PM

Dilip, Rhoedesian Ridgebacks are puny compared to my dogs but they are absolutely adorable for their sheer spunk. Mine are extremely lazy and happy-go-lucky :)

Sammy is about 155lb and so is Raju :)

Such sweet picture specially the second one
:beam: … it reminded me of my childhood and my dogs along with whom I grew … sad part they no more, but the good memories always there to cherish about, after all “dogs human best friend.” Anyone who ever had a pet can vouch for the that

Hello shanti I needed to speak to you with regards to the bharteeya blog mela earlier came to know that it was you who started that … incase if you use messenger could you please add
yahoo : puneetworld if you use if not then I would email you about that if its not a problem didn’t do the latter coz don’t prefer email…
