Mavs spank some Queen ass

Boy, was that a good game by the Mavs last night or what! I am loving the new look Mavs. Dirk looked like a monster and really aggressive last night. Dampier looked like a real center and will do great if he can not attract so many fouls. Josh howard and Marquis Daniels rocked as usual. Devon Harris was so good I was thinking “Steve Who?”. The kid can pass - it will be nice once he learns how to score consistently. It was just amazing to see him matched up with Mike Bibby and Bobby Jackson and see him rip them to shreds.

Go Mavs!

Looks like th offseason trade with the Wiz really paid off for both teams. Stack seems to have found his groove and Harris is a good pick. But I am extremely thrilled to have Jamison here in DC. he rocked last night, dropping 34 on the Griz. Wizards won despite drewssing only 8 players.

But I really want to see how improved the Mavs are defensively. Offense has never been the issue. Dampier might be a good post player but with Shaq in the East, this could very well be the year to get to the Finals. Howard and Daniels are really exciting players though!

Thanks, Raj - I was absolutely impressed by our depth in the game against Hornets yesterday.

I really like Jamison and wish him the best regardless of which team he plays for. I am glad he is working out for you guys - his talent was really wasted on the bench for us.

The Cavs can get to the playoffs, LBJ and Igaluskas willing!!! That #$&#& Boozer’s absence will not be felt, hopefully :(
Did not get to see the Mavs on TV, but how are the coping without Nash’s playmaking? Looks like they are, going by your description, but can they do it without him? Cos the Suns seem to be doing a lot better this season!

aNTi, I am pretty sure Suns will make the play-offs too and Nash will help them a lot in that respect. We will definitely miss Nash, especially in close games - he knew Nowitzki and Finley like no other. That said, Devin Harris is proving to be so much more fun “defensively” as well as pg-skills-wise, I am not worried about the future at all :)
