Cute chap.

From neonatal to 6 months, they are a pain.

From 6 months to 2 years, they are pain but also fun.

From 2 years to 4 years, they are mostly fun.

Mine is 6, and he is beginning to be pain for me and fun for others.

They say, a baby is an alimentary canal with a loud voice at one end and no responsibility at the other. My kid has learnt to be responsible at one end, but is getting to be irresponsible at the other. The other day, at dinner table, in front of a bunch of very sophisticated guests that came calling us, he demanded to know: “Dad, why are you slurping, when you told me not to? Gllll….lllllrrrrrrr (making slurping noises himself) like that! You said that is baaad? Don’t tell me, dont’ tell me you did not say. Don’t lie. Don’t lie. Remember? When Vashi (his friend) was here and we both did gllllllrrrrrrrr?”

The guests politely smiled, but I’m sure they desperately wanted ROFL relief. I smiled too, kind of weakly, indulgently, as a loving father would at the naughtiness of his prankster son, but trust me, if I had a chance to smother him to death at that instant, I’d have.

Well said, RR. As a mom, I am really not looking forward to when this smoochy-huggy baby is going to pretend he doesn’t know who I am if I kissed him in front of his friends.

Elephant ears looks quite cute, as cute and charming as his Dad is :smartass:

Posted by: Kalyan at December 23, 2004 9:15 AM

Why not, considering he inherited the Elephant ears from his dad :smartass:

He is Cute. I see both mom and dad in him.
I am not sure about the e-ears you are talking about.
