Hi Good folks! I hope you will all have a great and happy Valentine’s Day!

Visit this week’s Mela at Patrix’s blog. If you want to be featured in the next one, remember that the Mela is coming home to this blog for this week. Send me nominations related to India or written by Indian bloggers made within the dates 2/10 and 2/17. Leave the nominations as comments to this post.

Self-Nomination

Posted by: Venky Krishnamoorthy at February 17, 2005 12:38 PM

Since a precedent has been set for nominating multiple posts, I nominate all 56 that I put up between 10th and 17th.

Just kidding.

Self nominating “Who can stop a rose” and “One tight slap under your ear” from India Uncut, and “Tragic, and ironic” from The Middle Stage.

Also, as some fine bloggers seem to be too modest to self-nominate: Gaurav’s “The Most Irritating People Awards”; Ramanand’s “Aakhir Q?”; Jai Arjun’s “The Hungry Tide”; Nitin’s “India concedes another inch”; Ravages’s “More on ethics”; Pradeep’s “Meritocratic democracy”; Anand Vasu’s “15th degree murder”; Rahul’s “Baby pictures”; and finally, Hurree Babu’s “Valentine’s day massacres”, which contains the marvellous line, “Shobhaa’s still so stunning, of course her ass is kind of fat in that ghati way and she has a harsh, grating voice but her skin, it’s glorious and I’m thinking, Botox?”

Aren’t we lucky to have such marvellous bloggers?

Of course we are, Amit - maybe from now on we will just include the RSS feed from your blog as your entry to the Mela :p
