We moved hosting accounts recently - Hosting Matters was costing way too much for way too little space, so we moved over to Go Daddy now. Thanks, Sarah for all your help. Regular blogging will resume soon.
Oh - oh - one more thing - Cynthia McKinney lost, so all’s good with the world ;) We couldn’t be happier even if the NY Times “fauxtographers” staged us as being dead when we obviously aren’t :p

I too moved out of HostingMatters a few weeks back after realizing the same. I don’t know why they are so miserly with disk space.

It is ridiculous that I am now able to afford 100GB at GoDaddy for less than what I paid to Hosting Matters - they were just giving me 700MB.

Welcome back Shanti, I had almost given up hope.
Your comment made me go check out GoDaddy, and the price is phenomenal — so much so that I signed up just to mess around with it and use for space and email on an extra url.
Do you find it a problem that they don’t allow cron jobs? Also, are you still on Movable Type? I’ve also heard they have some issues with that.
I’m pretty entrenched with Hosting Matters for the moment, but I’m looking…
