Since there is no way to comment on the website you linked to, I hope you will indulge a few words here.
Mainly, I dont get it.
Yes it is Berkeley and it is always fun to poke fingers at liberals but what is the hypocrisy here?
Most of the bumper stickers say ‘No War for Oil’ - it could mean the person is anti-war - not necessarily anti-oil; perhaps the person is even willing to pay higher prices for oil?
At least these people aren’t driving around in a Hummer and claiming to be path-breaking environmentalists like their respected governor.
[Also the Honda Civic which ‘won’ is perhaps one of the more environment friendly cars….I would have gone for the Chevy Blazer which says ‘Go Green’ :-) ]
If you are against oil/oil companies - is it hypocritical to even drive ? That’s as lame as the liberal argument about right-wing war supporters being ‘chickenhawks’ and hypocrites for not going themselves/sending their children to war.

I definitely see your point, Jatayu - I think the website was simply poking fun at the drivers, but I definitely didn’t see the point of some of the cars like the one Subaru that had 38 miles/gallon mileage.
