I know all of my 3,4…(counting on fingers)…countless readers missed my blog while I was gone for the little bit. It was a mixup - first with Hosting Matters and then GoDaddy - all is resolved now, so look for more frequent updates :)

I noticed you were gone. What host did you finally settle on?
I, too, finally dropped Hosting Matters (it was overdue), signed up briefly with GoDaddy before I realized that their offering is pretty low-powered (not much for control panel options, everything’s an extra, no cron)…now I’m with HostGator.

Thanks, Pravin :)
Solomon, I am currently with GoDaddy - I agree their control panel leaves a lot to be desired. I need to check out HostGator.
Hosting Matters was great with customer service, but their space offering is ridiculously low for their prices.

Yeah, not only is their space way low (although they were good about increasing my space and not charging me for it when I asked, but who wants to go begging for another 100megs?), as I discovered when YOU mentioned you were moving to GoDaddy and I went and looked at what was out there, BUT, they also had a habit of deactivating my (take your pick) trackback, comment, search scripts without saying anything about it or advising what I needed to do if I wanted to keep them going. I understand it’s the spammers that ruin everything, but a little more help would have been appreciated, especially from a host recommended for bloggers.
Be sure to use this link if you end up signing up with HostGator (referral! :)

I use www.totalchoicehosting.com for all the blogs I host. Decent enough.
I use www.enginehosting.com for hosting India Uncut, however. Load balanced servers and extra performance is nice. :)

I have used totalchoice hosting before - I have no idea why I dropped it…
